The Dragon Half OAV scenario was based on the manga Dragon Half by Ryuusuke Mita, Shinya Sadamitsu was the director. The Dragon Half OAV soundtrack belongs to Kouhei Tanaka also known for music to Bastard!! OAV and Hiatari Ryoko! Yume no Naka ni Kimi ga Ita movie. Like the manga, the anime is filmed as a comedy.
