1996 saw the anime Kodocha TV release based on the manga Kodomo No Omocha by Miho Obana released in 1994. Jun Abe wrote music for Kodocha TV. 102 series were released all in all, each lasting for 22 minutes. The anime is filmed as a comedy with slight drama, romance, slice of life.

Makoto Sokuza was the Kyou no Go no Ni OAV director who relied on Today In Class 5-2 by Coharu Sakuraba. Toru Yukawa wrote a soundtrack for the anime. The anime combines ecchi, comedy, romance, slice of life.
